a test of faith

Faith.

Sa diksyonaryo: Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.

In theological aspect: secure belief in God and a trusting acceptance of God’s will.

When I accepted GOD into my life, I also gave my life to HIM. I didn’t have to worry about anything. HE will provide all of those.”

Faith.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

December 30, 2013

Binagyo ang ipinagmamalaki kong “faith”.

My son, Seth Isaiah got hospitalized for 3days. It was really a dreadful experience to see your son having a seizure attack..not once but twice. And you don’t even know kung mauulit pa ba..or what will happen next. Nakakapraning para sakin yun being a first time mom.

During those times, pinakita ko palagi na strong ako for my son..but deep inside, naiiyak nako..nalilito..

at nagtatanong.

bakit?..

bakit hinayaan ni LORD na mangyari ‘to kay Seth..when everytime i pray to HIm e puro safety ni Seth ang lagi kong subject. sa lahat ng favor na binigay nia sakin bakit hindi kasama dun yung good health ng anak ko..

My faith in HIM was shaken for that time being.

Ang hirap pala sabihin ng “thy will be done”..

And hirap pala sabihin ng “i surrender everything to you LORD”..

That was when i realized na mababaw pala yung ipinagyayabang kong “FAITH” kay LORD.

( Matthew 14:28-31)

GOD has tested my faith in HIM. And taught me to lift all my burdens and worries to HIM.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

And He reminded me of something. I just have to trust HIM..and sundin ang plano nia para sakin..

Isaiah 40:31 “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

With this, I must say naglevel up nako sa faith ko sa panginoon.

Praying that the LORD will always guide me.

Thank you LORD for everything. I’m sorry if doubted you..I’m asking for your forgiveness and guidance. In your name JESUS, Amen.

.paid in full.

After living what I felt was a ‘decent’ life, my time on earth came to the end.

The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting room of what I thought to be a court house.

The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat by the defense table.

As I looked around I saw the ‘prosecutor.’

He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me. He definitely was the most evil person I have ever seen.

I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney, a kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to me, I felt I knew Him.

The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full flowing robes.

He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room I couldn’t take my eyes off of Him.

As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, “Let us begin.”

The prosecutor rose and said,
“My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this woman belongs in hell…”

He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole, and in the past when I cheated others. Satan told of other horrible perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the further down in my seat I sank.

I was so embarrassed that I couldn’t look at anyone, even my own Attorney, as the Devil told of sins that even I had completely forgotten about.

As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not offering any form of defense at all.

I know I had been guilty of those things, but I had done some good in my life – couldn’t that at least equal out part of the harm I’d done?

Satan finished with a fury and said, “This woman belongs in hell, she is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person who can prove otherwise.”

When it was His turn, My Attorney first asked if He might approach the bench. The Judge allowed this over the strong objection of Satan, and beckoned Him to come forward.

As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in His full splendor and majesty.

I realized why He seemed so familiar; this was Jesus representing me, my Lord and my Savior.

He stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge, “Hi, Dad,” and then He turned to address the court.

“Satan was correct in saying that this woman had sinned, I won’t deny any of these allegations. And, yes, the wage of sin is death, and this woman deserves to be punished.”

Jesus took a deep breath and turned to His Father with outstretched arms and proclaimed, “However, I died on the cross so that this person might have eternal life and she has accepted Me as her Savior, so she is Mine.”

My Lord continued with, “Her name is written in the Book of Life, and no one can snatch her from Me.”

“Satan still does not understand yet. This woman is not to be given justice, but rather mercy.”

As Jesus sat down, He quietly paused, looked at His Father and said, “There is nothing else that needs to be done.”

“I’ve done it all.”

The Judge lifted His mighty hand and slammed the gavel down. The following words bellowed from His lips..

“This woman is free.”

“The penalty for her has already been paid in full.”

“Case dismissed.”

As my Lord led me away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving, “I won’t give up, I will win the next one.” I asked Jesus as He gave me my instructions where to go next, “Have you ever lost a case?”

Christ lovingly smiled and said,
“Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me to represent them has received the same verdict as you.”

“Stop telling God how big your storm is.
Instead, tell the storm how big your God is!”

.Break Free.

I confess sometimes..i guess more often.. I couldn’t pray JESUS’ words – “yet not my will but yours be done” habang nakapako sya sa krus, pinagpapawisan ng dugo.

Pain that will lead us to question GOD.

Why He has let such thing happen to me?”

Lord, bakit mo ko pinaparusahan ng ganito?”

Anung kasalanan ko..bakit mo ko pinabayaan, Diyos ko..?”

Nakalimutan mo na ba?

GOD watched His own child die.

A supreme sacrifice has been made.

JESUS died.

An innocent man.

GOD’s own SON.

And we are indeed, part of this EXTRAORDINARY, ETERNAL PLAN.

We have to TRUST HIM with everything.

Lahat ng nararanasan mo.

Lahat ng nararamdaman mo..

Naranasan na yan ni KRISTO.

This Holy week, pagnilay’nilayan natin kung anu man ang mga pinagdaanan ng Diyos at ni Hesus.

And CELEBRATE.

Because Jesus’ death washed away our sins.

Kung anu mang kasalanan ang nagawa natin, its has been paid.

JESUS paid the price.

Just ask forgiveness from GOD and He will cancels our debts and counts us innocent.

By rising again from the tomb, Jesus showed us that death has no power over innocent blood.

We have been born again with a God-given purpose here on earth and an eternal life beyond.

Ngayon, tatanungin kita.

May karapatan ba tayo kwestyunin ang Diyos?

Why don’t we just accept HIM and follow the path He once shoved for us.

The path to righteousness.

To eternal life.

If you die today, sa tingin mo san ka pupunta?

Would God welcome you home?

Jesus is the way to the Father.  He paid the price for your sins.  Ask God
to forgive you, accept Jesus to save you, and live his way. “

Happy Easter!

How A Chat Can Change Your Life Forever

One day, Jesus chatted with a woman.
And that chat changed her life. Forever.
That little encounter happened by a well.
In Samaria he came to a town named Sychar, which was not far from the field that Jacob had given to his son Joseph. Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired out by the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon. A Samaritan woman came to draw some water, and Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink of water.” (John 4:5ff)
If you were drawing water from the well, would you do it at noon—when the sun was really hot?
I don’t think so. Obviously, this woman was hiding. She didn’t like people to see her. Because she was an outcast, an ostracized person. (Later in the story, you’ll find out why.)
For her, it was the well of humiliation.
We too have our own wells of humiliation.
Because all of us are hiding something shameful. All of us have something in our past that we’d rather not remember. All of us wear a mask and pretend.
But God knows. He knows every foul thing we did. He knows every time we lied through our teeth. Every time we gave in to our lusts. Every time we used people for our selfish gain. Every time we became cowards.
Yet despite knowing all our inner garbage, Jesus still sits by the well of our shame, accepts us, and loves us…
A Samaritan woman came to draw some water, and Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink of water.” The woman answered, “You are a Jew, and I am a Samaritan — so how can you ask me for a drink?”
In ancient Middle Eastern culture, if I used your cup, that meant we’re friends. By asking a drink of water from the Samaritan woman, Jesus was declaring his friendship with someone who had three negative things about her.
First, she was a woman, and men don’t talk to women in public. Because during that time, women were property. They were only a little higher than cows. (Sorry sisters. Just reporting historical data.)
Second, she was a Samaritan. Jews hated Samaritans. Because Samaritans were half-Jews, a result of an intermarriage between Jews and Gentiles.
And there was a third reason, the biggest reason why Jesus shouldn’t be talking to her…
“Go and call your husband,” Jesus told her, “and come back.”   “I haven’t got a husband,” she answered. Jesus replied, “You are right when you say you haven’t got a husband. You have been married to five men, and the man you live with now is not really your husband. You have told me the truth.”
She was an adulterer. A home-wrecker. A loose woman who jumped from one man to another.
This was the person Jesus was befriending.
Jesus didn’t say, “I’m shocked. You’ve got five husbands. Five, my goodness! Have you no respect for yourself? You’ve committed adultery not once, not twice, not three times—but five times!”
Jesus said no such thing.
There was no condemnation in his voice.
What was Jesus doing? He was telling the woman, “I know you. And yet here I am, talking to you as a friend. The people of this town don’t want to talk to you. They reject you. But I don’t, even if I know your darkest secrets.”
Today, I want you to picture yourself to be this person.
I bet God doesn’t have to look too hard to find reasons not to like you. But He doesn’t focus on those negative things. Instead, He focuses on the reasons why He wants to call you “friend”.
This Holy Week, I invite you to have a chat with Jesus.
Let this conversation change your entire life.
Allow Him to love you where you are.
With your weaknesses. With your sins. With your lies. With your hypocrisy. With your discrepancies.
That chat with Jesus changed that Samaritan woman’s life forever.
Her well of humiliation become her well of hope.
God can do the same thing to your life.
Go to Him now and receive this miracle.
How?
Spend time with Him this Holy Week.
Hear His Word.
Talk to Him.
Go to a quiet church and spend time with him.
Do the Way of the Cross.
Go to confession.
Better yet, go to a retreat.
Pour out your heart to Him.
Jesus will be waiting by your well.

..confession of a broken kapitbahay..

being pregnant is the most beautiful thing that could ever happen to a woman. pero bakit may mga tao na kung umasta sila e parang gusto nila na pagsisihan mo ang bagay na yun? na parang pinapamuka nila na katapusan na ng mundo para sayo..na parang wala ka ng pupuntahang iba kundi pagkalubog..na para bang ito’y  isang krimen na ang tanging lusot mo lang e kamatayan.

nagbuntis ka man dahil sa kahit anung paraan..its always the same banana. the only difference is how you will deal with it.

karapatang maging bata..

karapatang mahalin at bigyang aruga..

treat them and their narrow-minded comments your inspiration not your destruction.

-finding wisdom-

With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity  (Proverbs 8:18)

Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her. “I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence;  I possess knowledge and discretion.”

To fear the LORD is to hate evil;

I hate pride and arrogance,

evil behavior and perverse speech.

Counsel and sound judgment are mine;

I have insight, I have power.

By me kings reign

and rulers issue decrees that are just

By me princes govern, and nobles –

all who rule on earth.

I love those who love me,

and those who seek me find me.

With me are riches and honor,

enduring wealth and prosperity.

My fruit is better than fine gold;

what I yield surpasses choice silver.

I walk in the way of righteousness,

along the paths of justice

bestowing a rich inheritance

on those who love me

and making their treasuries full.

Proverbs 8:10-21

When was the last time you had to choose between money and

Godly instruction?

Solomon knew that we all face this choice from time to time, and in these

verses he makes it very clear which decision to take.

Make the sacrifice in money and time and go to the conference.  Take the

degree rather than joining the workforce straight away.  Give up the extra

pay and get to the Sunday service to learn from other believers.  Buy the

books and tapes and listen to them.

And what about wisdom?  Wisdom is much higher than knowledge.  Nothing we

desire can compare with her.  Wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord.  She

is knowledgable but discreet, insightful, powerful, humble, and good.

Wisdom has to be found.  She walks in the way of righteousness.  If we seek

her there, we will find her, along with riches, honor, enduring wealth,

prosperity, and a rich inheritance.

take the journey!
